Jesse Simon is a creator and entrepreneur who has successfully built and scaled multiple ventures. Starting at just 15, he quickly established himself as a dynamic force in both national and international markets, specializing in the acquisition and sale of some of the world’s rarest and most valuable collectibles. His expertise has taken him across the world, with business dealings in regions such as Dubai. JIM SIMON
Jim is the creator of the ShieldMaster series and a versatile internationally published author whose work spans fiction, nonfiction, and multimedia content. With a career rooted in both pop culture and high tech, he has developed entertainment properties for print, streaming, licensing, and beyond. His writings on comic book history appear in publications by Marvel, DC, Titan Books, and Abrams ComicArts. Jim has been featured on the Discovery Channel, in national media, and in the TV documentary Marvel’s Captain America: 75 Heroic Years.
JOE SIMON
Joe was a groundbreaking comic book writer, artist, and editor. Best known for co-creating Captain America with Jack Kirby, Simon was a key figure in the comic book world and served as the first editor of Timely Comics, the precursor to Marvel Comics. He co-created iconic characters like the Red Skull, Vision, Sandman, Boy Commandos, and Fighting American, and pioneered the romance and horror comic genres. He also founded the satirical magazine Sick and worked in advertising. Later, Simon co-authored The Comic Book Makers with his son, Jim, and was a fierce advocate for creator rights, famously suing Marvel in a landmark case. His legacy as a comic book innovator continues to inspire the industry.
